El PSOE Migjorn celebra la nova promoció d’habitatge públic que es construirà al municipi i posa en valor la emprempta socialista del projecte.
Aquest matí, el conseller d’habitatge del Govern balear, Marc Pons, la presidenta del Consell Insular, Susana Mora, i la portaveu del PSOE Migjorn, Pilar Pons, han visitat la parcel·la on es construiran 10 nous habitatges de protecció pública al municipi, complint, així, amb un dels principals compromisos electorals de l’agrupació socialista i de l’administració autonòmica amb els ciutadans i ciutadanes del poble.
El projecte està finançat i dissenyat per la Conselleria d’Habitatge del Govern de les Illes Balears, mentre que l’Ajuntament des Migjorn cedeix la parcel·la. Segons Pilar Pons, “aquest projecte és molt necessari per Migjorn. En els darrers anys hem vist com han pujat els preus de l’habitatge al poble i un bon nombre de persones, sobretot joves, han hagut d’anar a viure a altres municipis”.
Els socialistes posen en valor la Llei d’Habitatge de les Illes Balears que va aprovar el Govern de Francina Armengol com l’eina clau per garantir el dret a un habitatge digne a tothom. El conseller Marc Pons, ha recordat que “partíem de zero, amb governs del PP que, enlloc de generar sòl públic, el venien per fer hotels”.
La portaveu i cap de l’oposició al municipi, Pilar Pons, ha volgut destacar que, tot i no governar a l’Ajuntament, “no deixam de fer feina per al nostre poble i perquè arribin projectes com aquest des d’altres administracions on sí que governam els socialistes”.
